COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures

The highest of professional standards have been implemented for our vacation rentals including procedures recommended by the CDC.

  1. Check in will be via keyless entry to ensure the safest of social distancing practices. The lock box will be disinfected.
  2. A checklist (see below) will be left at each home by the housecleaner, verifying what they have cleaned as a minimum.
  3. Did you know “sanitize” and “disinfect” have completely different meanings?  “Disinfect” is a term for killing germs on all hard surfaces with government recommended/approved products and applies to countertops, toilets, light switches, doorknobs, etc. “Sanitize” is a term that is used for soft surfaces such as carpets and sofa and kills the majority of germs.
  4. A checklist on page 2 and 3 covers our routine services and includes with each turnover: clean blankets, triple sheeting and laundered duvet covers.
  5. Housecleaners use gloves and masks and are careful to sanitize “as they are leaving the home.”
  6. Hand sanitizer will be left for guests (subject to supply).
  7. Vacancies between guests are 72 hours before and after check in/check out.
