We’re getting ready for a Fitch Mountain-sized celebration full of family fun for all ages (including fun for the fur babies)!
Join us Saturday, May 4th for a North Sonoma County celebration – we’re opening up Fitch Mountain to the public in perpetuity!
The celebration will be full of fun, including outdoor activities for the kids, guided hikes, live music, special guests, and even dog park fun for your fur babies.
For more than two decades, working together with the greater Healdsburg community, we’ve been fighting to protect the top of Fitch Mountain and open up the Park & Open Space Preserve for public access. In just a few weeks, this dream is going to become a reality!
The long-awaited public access improvements, including extensive trail work, creek restoration and wildfire mitigation work, bridge installations, new picnic grounds, public art projects and massive enhancements to the dog park are just about wrapped up and ready to open!
This means it’s time to celebrate the crown jewel of Healdsburg – Fitch Mountain!
