Is there any fruit as delicious as a tree-ripe-peach ?  Surrounded by world-renowned vineyards, Dry Creek Valley peach is the last remaining fruit farm in the valley and the only dedicated, certified organic peach farm in Sonoma County. The farm takes advantage of the mineral-rich soil fed by Dry Creek and the ideal growing type of this famous appellation just outside the town of Healdsburg. Here, the fruit is left on the trees to ripen in the Caliornia sun as long as possible to maximize sweetness and freshness. Field Kitchen veteran chef Adam Dulye turned us onto Dry Creek peaches when he served a dessert dripping with their juicy deliciousness last year, so we can’t think of anyone better to bring along for this meal. The Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley, a non-profit organization championing the region’s wines, will offer selections to accompany the dishes.
