A rock show retelling of the bloody legend of America’s favorite Victorian axe-wielding double-murderess, Lizzie Borden. Inspired by the Riot Grrrl movement, it’s like Sweeny Todd meets Rocky Horror.
In the late summer of 1892, Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe. Testimonies were muddled, evidence was incomplete, and Lizzie was acquitted. Her older sister Emma, maid Bridget, and neighbor Alice are by her side telling the story of why Lizzie Borden may have done it. If she did it.
“This is the greatest American musical since ‘Sweeney Todd.’”

“A gothic rock ritual with a ‘riotgirl’ attitude…”
